The gemara in Yerushami Brachot say one should not start maariv until one sees three stars other than the star you see during the day (presumably Nogah). However, some rishonim had a sightly different text until one sees three stars that look like a star. These rishonim said one should see three small stars in the shape of a tripod, i.e. close enough together that they look like one star. They suggest that this chumra should be followed on Motzei Shabat. My question is there anyone who follows this chumra?
There are two pisgot, one in Chagigah that in heaven they accepted three things Moshe did, he added another day at Har Sinai, he separated from his wife, and he broke the tablets. In brachot, we have the bet din in heaven accepted three things from the bet din below. The Cherem on Jericho, Migilat Ester, and using HaShem's name in everyday greetings.
I think there is a parallism here. The Cherem on Har Sinai against the Cherem on Jericho, Moshe separating from Zipora and Mordechai separating from Ester (for the unintiated Ester was married to Mordechai), and seemingly being disrespectful to HaShem's name by breaking the tablets and Boaz using it in everyday language. Anyone know of source that would back this up?
