First, on a personal note, I’m a former Manhattanite who took refuge in suburbia to raise my family in Monsey's Torah environment.

Social media and search engine optimization are two of my passions.

The journey that led to my immersion in these areas began with my years of involvement in business research and analysis during which I helped some of the largest U.S. companies achieve their growth and profitability goals.

Over the years, I developed an appreciation for marketing and an interest in computers and the Internet.

Then, as I related in Social Media One Bite at a Time, I discovered social media in 2006 and realized that it would dramatically enhance the usefulness of the Internet. I therefore made a decision to master social media and to see where that mastery would lead me.

Today, web marketing enables me to leverage my experience and help businesses realize the considerable marketing potential of the Internet.

I also provide individualized guidance to businesses through my consulting work, helping them craft a sound web and social media strategy -- essential for building a substantial web presence and attaining or retaining a leadership position.
