Aryeh Shore

lost beit yoseph

I am looking for a section of the Beit Yoseph which should appear in siman 6, Ever Haezer. In the newest edition, it says that there is a discussion of forcing a Cohen to divorce an inappropriate spouse in the heading small paragraph 6. It isn't there. Inside it says that the discussion is found in para 14 in the same siman. It is not there. There should be a shut from the Shirira Goan in the name of the Orhot Haim that we cut off his fingers.

Can anyone find it?

I don't think there's anything missing; he alludes to the method by writing in the section on "Seif" Aleph:

כתב הריב"ש בסימן שמ"ח אשת כהן שיש בה ריח גט [ו]היא יושבת תחת בעלה כופין אותו להוציא ושם כתב כיצד כופין:

A bit later on (Seif 6) he writes:

וכבר כתבתי בסימן זה (ד"ה ומ"ש אבל אם) שהריב"ש בסימן שמ"ח כתב כיצד כופין:

That's a reference to the fe first quote above. So he only actually alludes to it.

I can't seem to be able to edit my comment, but the quotes were from the Bar Ilan Responsa CD Version 15.

Well that is the quote I am looking for. It just isn't in the edition I looked at.
Now it just quotes the paragraph in the Archot Chaim but doesn't mean that he is bringing everything in the para, i.e., you cut off the finger tips of the Cohen if he tries to leave town. I was looking for some explanatory material as this would be a good source for plastic surgery for men. Also it is not clear how cutting off the finger tips would stop the Cohen from giving the blessing as having a defect does not disqualify.
