About Me:

I am an Orthodox Jewess, Baal Tshuva, over ten years. I have/run a wonderful farm myself, and am incredibly agrarian at heart (my girls help). Ashkenazi roots (all of our family in Russia were farmers of various kinds) and therefore have many issues with which to deal in areas of Halacha, given the constant issues which arise having animals. Kosher dairy (goats). Have been a member of GY since May of 2006- I don't know what I would do without it. Working on my Masters in Professional Writing. My favourite thing to do is to squirt people with a waterhose unaware.

What would you like to gain from being a member of the community?:

Broaden my knowledge so my two little girls (11 & 12) can have their questions answered in a more complete manner. Fill in gaps in my Jewish education as well as benefit from the ongoing study time, since I am so far physically removed from community.

What will the community gain by having you as a member?:

Provide comic relief, (Someone to laugh at).
